Together we have walked through the ten themes of the prayer covenant in prior recordings. The Discipleship line of the prayer reads, Use me for your glory and to invite others to follow you. When children pray that prayer from their heart, Jesus answers and he answers quickly.
After a recent Last Quarter evangelism outreach event, one prayer covenant child shared, “Knowing that I am saved and going to heaven one day and knowing that there are so many children like me who do not know Jesus, I would feel like a criminal if I didn’t show them the way to be saved. I don’t know what is so difficult about it. The Bible simply asks us to share the good news with our friends. For me, it’s always a joyful time when I hear we are going to share Gospel and be part of an outreach. Using the flyers or tracts, it’s so simple to explain the Gospel to my friends. My desire now is to know more and more the Scriptures in order to reach and rescue as many of my friends as possible.”
A pastor in Togo West Africa is so excited to see how LQE children evangelists are reaching out to people, he invited prayer covenant children to do evangelism among the children in his village in order to start a church plant with a focus on children’s ministry.”
LQE is a model that any church, on any continent, in any city or village can adopt. It is a powerful movement that God has raised up for such a time. Our children and youth need to be challenged and engaged within our churches. They need to know their voice counts in the Kingdom and that God can and is using them to accomplish His eternal purposes.
Prayer
Let’s pray. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you Father for the children and youth whose lights are shining brightly for the gospel and for your kingdom. Thank you for the ministry of the gospel, the power of the gospel and the hope of the gospel. Thank you for those who have made decisions to follow you. May each fall on good soil and take root quickly and begin multiplying into those around them. Help us to look within our own church walls for laborers among the youth that want to be equipped and challenged and used for your Glory. Help us not to miss your very best. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
